REWARD BASED TRAINING
There are advantages to positive motivational training. It is kinder and less stressful on the dog and owners are much happier to adopt a kind and positive approach. Reward based training builds a closer relationship between owner and dog making them more likely to share an enjoyable, enduring bond.
REAL LIFE TRAINING
Owners are encouraged to incorporate training as part of their daily routine. In class dogs are taught to have nice manners and behave appropriately in everyday situations.
BASIC PET DOG MANNERS
All of the exercises taught in class are relevant to basic manners for the family pet. Behaviour problem prevention is an integral part of the classes. Children are welcome to attend classes and help with the training of their dog.
SMALL CLASS SIZE
Classes are limited to 6 dogs. All owners and dogs attend an individual training session prior to commencing classes. Having met and assessed all of the dogs it helps me manage the classes providing a worthwhile positive experience for all. We can also begin to work on individual training problems that you may be experiencing.
OWNER EDUCATION
The skills and knowledge owners acquire will provide them with a solid foundation to assist them in addressing their dog’s needs throughout its life. The class content is designed to produce an informed, competent and responsible owner.

Owners are provided with written notes on important aspects of responsible ownership and training
SOCIALISATION
Attending training classes at A Perfect Spot Dog Training allows owners to socialise their dog in a controlled safe environment. Dogs learn polite manners around other dogs and people.
Fearful dogs can slowly be introduced to other dogs once they are feeling more confident.
